Homefield Values

At Homefield, we believe that academic excellence and pastoral care are the foundations of a well-rounded education. However, we go beyond these pillars by nurturing the character development of every boy, ensuring that their educational journey is both enriching and transformative.

In the Summer Term of 2024, we embarked on a collaborative effort, led by our Assistant Head Pastoral, Mr Smith, to define a set of core values that reflect the heart of our school community. Through a democratic process, boys, staff, governors and parents worked together to select the values that resonated most strongly. After thoughtful consideration, we are proud to introduce our five Homefield values: Respect, Kindness, Integrity, Endeavour and Resilience.

These values are more than just words - they are integral to daily life at Homefield. We embed them in our curriculum, activities, and events, ensuring they shape the boys’ experiences and guide their personal growth. Whether in the classroom, on the sports field, or through co-curricular activities, these values are promoted and rewarded, helping every boy develop into a responsible, thoughtful member of the community.

We believe that by embracing these values, the boys will not only excel academically but also grow into well-rounded individuals who embody the spirit of Homefield.
